Turn government services into systems citizens can rely on

Speed up every application
from the first form filed to the final report, and keep the system when we leave

A woman officer in a sari smiles as she works on a laptop at a desk stacked with files in an Indian government office.
  • Automate reporting 80% faster data processing
  • Hand over the keys 100% ownership with the client team
  • Read documents at scale 98%+ of clauses found automatically
  • Decide sooner 35% faster decisions on live data
  • Stay up at peak 1M+ daily transactions, zero downtime

Results a department can measure

Every engagement starts with the figure the department already reports and ends with that figure moving. Six of them, from six different programmes.

  • A planning analyst points at a chart on one of two monitors while a colleague follows, a snowy city through the window behind them.
60% less manual effort compiling indicators

Thirteen municipalities stopped compiling figures by hand in spreadsheets. Collection and processing now run on their own.

71+ countries on one learning platform

One platform for learners on laptops and phones across regions and time zones, with email and SMS reminders keeping them on course.

    Plan International
  • Illustration of a food pantry intake desk: a volunteer showing a client an SMS on a basic phone, shelves of tinned goods behind.
2× faster data updates from partners

Figures from many partner organisations now land in one place, on time, and reach people by web, mobile and SMS.

    Indy Hunger Network
  • Engineers in a darkened operations room watch traffic graphs climb on wall screens during a live evening broadcast.
500 donations a second at peak

A national live broadcast sends traffic up by orders of magnitude in minutes. The platform took it without an outage.

    Comic Relief
  • Illustration of a vaccination field team on a rural road at dawn, one worker logging a dog's tag on a rugged phone, a cooler box open.
1.3M animals vaccinated in 16+ countries

Field teams record data offline and it syncs when a connection returns, so remote districts report as fast as the city.

    Mission Rabies
  • A woman presents a dashboard on a wall screen to four colleagues with laptops round a meeting table.
4× faster delivery of new features

The client team now builds and runs the product itself, with the tools and working practices we introduced alongside them.

One set of numbers for thirteen municipalities

The Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board compiled indicators from thirteen municipalities by hand, in spreadsheets tracked through SharePoint. We built a cloud data platform on AWS, automated the collection and set a three-year plan to move the data off Excel for good.

How we deliver

Four stages, the same on a ward office pilot and a state-wide rollout. Each one ends with something the department can inspect.

  1. Two men sit at a long table with registers and a laptop, reading through files in a department office.
    01

    Study

We read the scheme guidelines, the existing registers and the tender scope, and sit with the staff who will use the system before anything is designed.

  2. Staff gather around a colleague at a computer in a busy district office, trying a new system on real records.
    02

    Prove

A working pilot on real records in one office or district, measured against the figures the department already reports.

  3. A training room of staff at laptops follow a presenter at a projector screen.
    03

    Scale

Rollout across offices and districts in phases, with training for every role and the old data moved across with its history intact.

  4. A younger engineer hands a box of documentation across a desk to a senior official in a records office.
    04

    Hand over

Source code, documentation, runbooks and credentials pass to the department, and its own team is trained to run the system.
